Training is the most important factor for Firefighters and EMS personnel. Our office assists New York State Certified Instructors with training notices and registration to provide these professionals opportunity to gain as much knowledge as possible for what lies ahead in fire service. Mailings are sent out periodically from our office but an updated list may be found on this website. Available training can be found on the Fire Service or EMS tabs.
Training records are managed through this office and coincide with those of New York State Office of Fire Prevention Control (OFPC). If you are in need of your training records or feel you have not gotten credit for a course you have taken, our office can assist you in finding that information.
For personalized fire department
training, there are many videos and DVD’s available through our office
which can be borrowed from our library at any time.
