There are now two RAD 57 CO Monitors
available for use in the county. If there are one or two patients and
CO readings are already high in the house, treat and transport as
appropriate. If there are large numbers of patients suspected (such as
in an apartment building, school, church, business etc.) and they need
to be evaluated you may want to call for the monitor.
Contact Dispatch at the Sheriff's Office
if these are needed and they will send HAZMAT Coordinator Dan Imfeld
(south end) or EMS Coordinator Steve Cobb (north end). |
